To commemorate the reversal of DOMA this summer, are launching a new investigative series called “Holy Matrimony!,” for which we spoke to people all over the United States about marriage. We are happy to share some of what we heard through “Let Me Ascertain You,” the Civilians’ podcast.
In this first episode — recorded live at Joe’s Pub in NYC — Jess Watkins, Trey Lyford and Nedra McClyde perform scenes based on interviews that Amina Henry and Talya Klein conducted. Also, Michael Friedman sings “The Little Match Girl,” a song about the supposed number-one match maker for the NYC elite.
