The Body Farm in Knoxville, TN, is the world’s first research facility dedicated to the study of human decomposition. Civilians Associate Artist Alix Lambert spent time conducting interviews there as part of an ongoing project of her own. In this episode, we hear two monologues crafted from her work. Greg McFadden plays Bill Bass, the founder of the Body Farm, and Emily Ackerman plays a forensic artist. In addition, Meghan McGreary and Kris Kukel perform “Sleep and Death,” a song by Shaina Taub. This episode was recorded live at Joe’s Pub in NYC as part of “Let Me Ascertain You: A Death Cabaret.”
