This episode features more material from “Occupy #S17,” a special cabaret the Civilians hosted at Joe’s Pub to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Occupy Wall Street. Mia Rovegno directed the evening, which featured performers Dan Domingues and Emily Rossell performing monologues based on interviews that Domingues and Kelly McCreary conducted with OWS protestors. The episode closes with Caitlin Montclare, Alex Nolan, Amanda Ruzza, and Liz Kelly performing “The Punk Prayer,” the song that led to three members of Pussy Riot serving terms in a Russian prison.
